Product Details

Jacketed Glass Reactor, also known as glass reactor, is a glass container used in chemical reactions. It consists of an internal glass container and an external jacket glass. The space between the internal container and the sheath is filled with circulating heating or cooling fluids. Important experimental equipment widely used in fields such as chemistry, biology, and pharmaceuticals. The glass reactor body is its core part, usually made of high borosilicate glass or quartz glass. These materials not only have high temperature and high pressure resistance, but also have good chemical stability and can withstand the erosion of various acids, bases, and organic solvents. Meanwhile, the glass material visualizes the reaction process, making it easier for experimenters to directly observe the reaction situation. A jacket is a cavity surrounding the outside of the reactor, used to introduce cooling water or heating medium, and achieve temperature control of the materials inside the reactor. By adjusting the flow rate and temperature of the medium inside the jacket, the temperature changes during the reaction process can be effectively controlled to ensure the stability of the reaction.

Installation






 


  • Build the stand: Assemble the stand or other support system for the double jacket glass reactor according to the specified instructions. Make sure it is firmly attached to the ground or a bench and is steady.




  • Attach the glass vessel by putting it on the support and correctly centering it. Utilize the provided clamps or other fasteners to safely attach the vessel. Avoid overtightening the clamps to prevent damage to the glass.




  • Install the motor: If the jacketed lab reactor has a motor for stirring, make sure to install and connect it according to the instructions. Verify that the motor is firmly attached and positioned so that it faces the stirring mechanism.




  • Examine the electrical connections: Make sure that every electrical connection is made correctly, including the power supply and grounding. Observe all applicable rules and recommendations for electrical safety.




  • Run a test on the jacketed reactor to make sure everything is operating as it should. Check to see if the stirrer, cooling/heating system, and other accessories work properly.
